We share a passion for vanlife and the outdoors and love to explore the hidden treasures of northern Scandinavia. Our love for the region’s natural beauty and off-grid adventures inspired us to create Northern Van Quest. Together, we aim to connect vanlifers and help others uncover the gems of northern Sweden and Norway.

Bernt, a world-champion fly caster and avid fly fisher, thrives in the wilderness, while both Anne and Bernt enjoy hiking and the simplicity of free camping. Both born along the Piteå River, Bernt hails from Lillpite near the river’s outlet into the Baltic Sea, while Anne grew up by Storforsen, one of Europe’s most magnificent rapids.

Through Northern Van Quest, we hope to inspire others to experience the magic of vanlife and discover the joy of the road less traveled.
